About Julia Aamold

Aamold (b.1994) is a conceptual art photographer who explores emotions, nature and imaginative ideas. As a photographer, she expresses these subjects through self-portraits, experimental processes, and still life projects. Aamold uses the artistic process to confront internal fears and scratch the creative itch. She is a 3rd generation Montanan with a family who has inspired her to create, learn and strive for happiness. Her family influences her to express the reality of mental health issues and spark conversation.

Aamold is currently pursuing a higher education at Montana State University for her Bachelors of Arts in Photography. Here she explores new perspective and puts passion into each projects. The medium has influenced her to photograph the little things and aspire to bigger things.
